There are 3 types of weapons, Magic, Melee, and Ranged. Within the Melee category, there are 3 different weapons, Clubs, Daggers, and Swords. Clubs have a unique property which slows enemies hit, and daggers deal extra damage when the mob is facing the opposite direction from the attacking player. Swords act as normal melee weapons. Similarly, within the Ranged category, there are 3 different weapons, Dart Shooters, Slingshots, and Bows. Dart Shooters and Slingshots don't require any wind up time like the bows do, but do less damage in return. Dart Shooters fire arrow projectiles, whereas slingshots fire snowball projectiles. Within the Magic weapon category, there are only Staffs. The bolts that fire from the staffs deal magic damage, which is more effective at penetrating a monster's armor.
Just like vanilla minecraft, there are 4 types of armor, the helmet, the chestplate, the leggings, and the boots. The different armor types have different base protection values, helmet = 1, boots = 1.1, leggings = 1.2, chestplate = 1.3. Essentially, this means that the chestplate is the most valuable when it comes to determining protection values, while helmets are the least important. These 2 are dropped by Corrupt/Enlightened Mobs, and their rarity, damage, and minimum level requirement are determined by the level of the mob.

There are currently only 2 sets of custom armor on the live Dark Dungeon server
These are the Corrupted and Enlightened sets of armor, which are obtainable by killing Corrupt/Enlightened mobs of their respective type. Similarly to their weapons, their protection level, rarity, and minimum level requirement are determined by the level of the mob.
